"Just treat people the way you want to be treated."

So says Teo Jordan of Covington, Kentucky, who became rightfully famous for doing just that. Teo was bagging groceries at Kroger when he heard the cashier tell an elderly customer that he didn't have enough money and would have to put some things back. But the man didn't have to give up his groceries, because Teo stepped forward.

"I just thought in my head I would give him this $35 so he could have all the food that he wants,” Jordan told a local TV station. “Just treat people the way you want to be treated (and) always help out if someone needs it.”
