Let's Celebrate this Vet's Birthday!

An envelope addressed to James South, and an old photo of a smiling young woman
That's James's girlfriend, who wrote to him every day he was away in WW II. When he got home, he married her.

WW II veteran James South turns 100 years old on October 7th, and for his birthday he'd like to receive 100 cards from 100 strangers. "It would give me a feeling that I am recognized for what I do, what I am,” he told a local news affiliate. “And I would cherish it forever.”

Wouldn't it be cool to make James's day? In case you can't read the address above, it's 5800 North Park Drive, Watauga, TX 76148. And if you'd like to meet James, you can do so via video here.
